Description
The difference between a peacock and a peahen can be clearly seen in Indian peafowls. The blue cocks have striking tail feathers, also called a train. The train can grow up to 1.5 metres in length and is covered with ‘peacock eyes’. During courtship, the peacocks raise their train to impress the hens. This mounted peacock is standing on a beautiful wooden piece only able to be mounted on the wall. This is so that the train is clearly visible.
